In Biochemistry, 'Michaelis–Menten' kinetics (미하엘리스-멘텐 식, Michaelis–Menten equation) is one of the best-known models of Enzyme kinetics. It is named after German biochemist Leonor Michaelis and Canadian physician Maud Menten. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michaelis–Menten_kinetics)
$$ v = \frac{d[S]}{dt} = \frac{v_{max}[S]}{[S]+K_{m}} $$
여기서, \( V_{max} \)는 반응의 최대속도를 의미하며, \( K_{m} \)은 \( V_{max} \)의 1/2에 도달할때의 substrate의 농도를 의미한다.
따라서 그래프에 표시된 \( K_{m} \)이, \( V_{max} \) 1의 0.5 부분에 있다.
